Shouted my 5-years old daughter in the morning today. Right she is, we haven´t had so much snow during the whole winter and Christmas-time was not white but green.It was a real snowstorm during the night, even our trampoline was gone with the wind. Fortunately not to next door, it´s still in our garden, but 10 meters from the place it used to be.
And it keeps snowing...
LESSON: if you wish something, it will come true, one way or another. The question is when.
I guess we were all longing for snow this winter, and now it´s here at last!
Täna on kõige kauneimad jõulud! hüüatas mu 5-aastane tütar hommikul. Tõsi ta on, sel talvel pole ju lund olnudki, jõuludki olid rohelised ja mitte valged.
Öösel oli siis siinkandis tõeline lumetorm, isegi meie batuut oli ära lennanud, õnneks küll mitte naabrite juurde vaid leidnud endale lihtsalt uue koha.
Ja lund muudkui sajab ja sajab...
ÕPPETUND: kõik soovid lähevad kunagi täide, küsimus on lihtsalt, millal. Kogu talve soovisin südamest lund, nüüd on see siis lõpuks kohal!

Pole lihtsalt jõudnud põhjalikumalt tegeleda, panin lihtsalt esimesed emotsioonid kirja.
Oli mulgi eile Lapimaa-Jõulumaa tunne - pole sellist lund me maja ümber veel näinud. Oleks vaid lumi maha sadanud, aga see tuul pühkis mäe pealt põllult suure osa lund kokku ja pakkis me majakese mäeküljel hangedesse. Põlvini kummikud on head asjad küll, aga kui saaks kalamehesäärikud, oleks tolku ka...

31 degrees F. and sunny but the strong wind in 20 mph gusts detracts from thoughts of spring. Yesterday it was 51 degrees as a front went through but today the ground is ice and there is still three feet of snow on surrounding fields and more beside the house. This season we rec'd more snow than in the past 20 years. We would like to see green grass.
What are your favorite perennials there?
